...growing up in Washington State, a paradise of every kind of artisan produce, I learned to read the history of a place in its raw ingredients. The taste, the smell, the color, the way it is packaged, these all tell the stories of the land that some food comes from, and the people who made it. It bears the marks of an unseen journey. This blog will explore the subtlties of raw ingridents and specialty produce. It will also include my tasting notes on wines, cheese and other artisian produce.
